Grab to offer free airport transfers, more group rides during Christmas

Ride-hailing giant Grab Philippines has prepared several measures, including free transfers from the airport, to minimize wait times for passengers and mitigate traffic buildup on the road.

In an advisory, Grab said that traffic conditions during the holiday season extend trip completion by up to 25 percent on peak hours.
Further, Grab said demand for ride-hailing services is expected to go up by as high as 36 percent in the fourth quarter, as Filipinos go out more often to attend their holiday festivities.
As a result, Grab Philippines managing director Ronald Roda said the transport network vehicle service (TNVS) supply would be tighter this December.
Roda asked passengers to anticipate longer times booking a ride and completing a trip given the situation.
