Both parties made a joint statement at their 36th meeting in Davao City following the commemoration of the sixth anniversary of the BARMM.

In the statement, the peace panels of both parties agreed to undertake initiatives that would push forward, build on and preserve the gains of peace in the region.

"Guided by the spirit of mutual responsibility toward peace, the parties thanked all stakeholders and reaffirm their resolve to strive toward a meaningful and inclusive fulfillment of the peace agreement for the benefit of all people in Bangsamoro," the statement, signed by panel chairmen Cesar Yano and Mohagher Iqbal, declared.
