Go, Robin, Bato file resolution seeking Rody’s interim release

Sen. Bong Go on Wednesday expressed deep concern over the deteriorating health of former president Rodrigo Duterte and backed a proposed Senate resolution urging the Philippine government to seek Duterte’s interim release from the International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague so he can be placed under house arrest.

The measure was filed in the Senate, with Go and Sen. Robinhood Padilla as coauthors, alongside Sen. Ronald dela Rosa.
Go opened his address by expressing grave worry about the reports coming from Duterte’s legal counsel regarding the former president’s current condition.
He stressed that even before Duterte’s transfer to The Hague, there were already health concerns and even signs of memory loss.
