GMA'S CHRISTMAS STATION ID SHOWS WHAT TRULY MATTERS THIS SEASON
The Philippine Star
|November 20, 2025
(First of 2 parts) It’s that wonderfully chaotic time of the year again as the Christmas rush sets in. Grand and colorful decorations have transformed malls into holiday wonderlands. Christmas carols — both classic and modern — fill the air. Parols glow from the windows of many homes, brightening already starry nights. Crowds pack malls, Christmas bazaars, and supermarkets as they prepare for the culinary feasts that will fill the Noche Buena table. This year, GMA Network goes beyond the glittering lights and festive rush of the holidays through its Christmas Station ID, “Puno Ng Puso Ang Pasko.”
Highlighting the treasured Filipino values of being Mapagmahal sa Pamilya, Maabilidad, Mapagmalasakit, Malikhain, Masayahin, Makabayan, and Maka-Diyos, GMA invites Kapuso viewers to reflect and take to heart what truly matters: love, togetherness, kindness, generosity and compassion.
“Puno Ng Puso Ang Pasko” rekindles the spirit of the holidays by embracing a more grounded and earnest celebration. It shines a light on Filipino values through a series of tender, touching vignettes featuring Sparkle GMA Artist Center artists — who were more than happy to share the values that resonate with them most during Christmas.
“Mapagmahal sa pamilya. For me, once you love your family, everything will just go smoothly. Mabilis tumanggap ng trabaho. Mabilis mabuhay.
“Di rin mawawala ang pagiging maka-Diyos. God talaga is the No. 1 priority. After loving God, you love your family, then you'll be able to love other people the way you love yourself. Love really is the core value of all of it.“I look forward to us (family) being together. This Christmas is really special because marami akong mabibigay na regalo, and maraming pangarap na natupad this year. I just want to feel the love with my family. That I’m able to give and just make them happy.”
“Para sa akin, ang pagiging mapagmahal sa pamilya. Christmas lang ‘yung time naming lahat na magkakasama, so we make sure kumpleto kami. Lahat kami na nandito sa Pilipinas, we see to it na nagkikita-kita kami.
