GERALD ANDERSON DEBUTS AS FILM PRODUCER IN 'REKONEK'

Gerald Anderson further broadens his understanding about the creative industry by producing this year’s Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) entry, “Rekonek,” where he is also starring.

It’s a followup to his stint as an actor and director of the Kapamilya TV series, “Sins of the Father.”

From playing characters in front of the camera to calling shots behind the camera, Gerald has also seen how a creative work emerges from script conception to production and promotion.

“Maraming challenges (there have been challenges such as) finance and schedule of artists, the shoot (filming of scenes) itself, and the most, you know, challenging at the same time, but it has been my most fulfilling kasi ang dami kong nagawa na hindi ko nagagawa before (because I did a lot that I had not done in the past).”
