The final list of voters for the 2025 midterm polls is expected to be released by the end of the month after the Commission on Elections delists duplicate registrations from the Comelec database.
“We will be deleting at least one million voter registration records found by our AFIS as double or multiple registrants,” Comelec Chairman George Garcia said, referring to the Automated Fingerprint Identification System.
The AFIS uses voters’ biometrics to detect duplicate registrations.
