K-pop powerhouse ENHYPEN brings the heat to the Philippine Sports Stadium as they stage their 'Walk The Line World Tour' in Bulacan, thrilling fans with their explosive performances. The septet is composed of Jungwon, Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo and Ni-ki. They are best-known for their songs Polaroid Love, Drunk-Dazed and Sweet Venom, among others.
“Ayo, Bulacan scream!”
And scream with passion they did — the Filipino fans, also known as Filo ENGENEs, whose unwavering energy captivated the boys of K-pop powerhouse ENHYPEN throughout their “Walk The Line World Tour” in Bulacan on Saturday, March 1.
ENHYPEN, composed of Jungwon, Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo and Ni-ki, took center stage at the Philippine Sports Stadium for their third major concert in the Philippines — a place they said they would always remember.
As if welcoming the septet and Filo ENGENEs, breathtaking orange hues painted the sky over the outdoor venue. The excitement was palpable, with loud fan chants and sing-alongs to the music videos playing, as fans eagerly awaited the boys’ arrival on stage.
The group’s funky Brought The Heat Back set the mood for the three-hour affair, with fireworks lighting up the sky and pyrotechnic effects on stage as the boys, clad in sleek black outfits, brought their best energy from the get-go.
ENHYPEN continued to heat up the stage with their viral hit Fever before finally greeting their Filipino fans, sending the crowd into even louder shrieks each time they spoke in Filipino in their opening “ment” (K-pop term for speaking segments).
“Grabe, ang galing talaga!” leader Jungwon quipped as he and the members marveled at the sea of orange lights, watching fans wave their ENGENE bongs upon his request. Filo ENGENEs also didn’t disappoint when Heeseung tested the crowd’s vocal skills, singing “yeah” with his clear vocal run.
“Woah, Philippines! You guys are the best!” Heeseung exclaimed, as the other members nodded their heads and raised their thumbs in approval, declaring Filo ENGENEs the “best singers.”
