He has also been tapped as a Vibe jock in the Original Pilipino Music (OPM) countdown weekday-weekend program, "Vibe Up." Dylan has also released singles, Maghapon and Pasko'y Walang Katulad.

Crossing over from small-screen acting and hosting to singing, the multi-talented Dylan is testing the film acting waters. He is part of the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) entry, "Manila's Finest," with Piolo Pascual and Enrique Gil as co-actors. Raymond Red directs the MQuest Ventures and Cignal TV-produced film.

"It feels like a dream. I remember mentioning this before, that I wanted to have a movie," said he in a recent group chat that this paper participated. "I'm very thankful that they (the people behind it) considered me (to play the role of) a rookie police officer."

Specifically, his character is patrolman Efren Taguyunon, who considers Lt. Homer Magtibay, played by Piolo, a mentor. "I, (as my character), look up to him. He's my role model," added he.

"The challenges of (Efren have something to do with) how to deal with certain conflicts with senior cops (that involve) corruption and politics."
