The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) saw a nine percent increase in permits processed online from January to September compared to the same period last year, following the nationwide rollout of its online registration system.

In a statement, the DTI reported that it processed 39,997 permits and licenses through the Integrated Registration Information System (IRegIS) from January to September, representing a nine percent increase from the same period last year.

“With the IRegIS now fully rolled out nationwide, consumers and businesses can complete regulatory transactions faster and with fewer steps,” the DTI said.

The IRegIS was created as part of efforts to streamline permit processing, and promote ease of doing business.

Services available on [RegIS include permits for sales promotions, import applications and for service and repair enterprises.
