Crime Volume Down by 23% in Metro Manila

The crime volume in Metro Manila went down by at least 23 percent, according to data released by the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) yesterday.

From Nov. 23, 2024 to May 2025, a total of 2,589 focus crimes were recorded in Metro Manila. The figure is lower by 23.19 percent when compared to the 3,368 crimes documented during the same period in the previous year.
