CALAX: Connecting Southern Luzon with mobility, tourism, and sustainability

The Cavite-Laguna Expressway (CALAX), a project operated by Metro Pacific Tollways South, is set to redefine transportation in Southern Luzon with its transformative approach to mobility, tourism, and environmental sustainability.
Recognized for its dual contributions, CALAX has garnered accolades from the Cavite Tourism Excellence Awards and the Green Awards by the Sta. Rosa City Government.
PAVING THE WAY FOR MOBILITY Spanning 45 kilometers, CALAX links the Manila-Cavite Expressway (CAVITEX) in Kawit, Cavite, to the South Luzon Expressway (SLEX) at the Mamplasan Interchange in Biñan, Laguna. Once fully operational in the third quarter of 2025, CALAX is expected to cut travel time between these key points from two hours to just 35 minutes. The expressway also aims to decongest heavily trafficked roads like Governor's Drive, Aguinaldo Highway, and Sta. Rosa-Tagaytay Road.
