Berde Renewables, Thailand's PSS forge green deal

Berde Renewables Inc., a Philippine unit of US-based I Squared Capital, has partnered with Bangkok-based Power Systems and Solutions Co. Ltd. (PSS) to build clean energy projects in Thailand.
Under the deal, the parties will develop and roll out solar and battery storage projects as well as hybrid energy solutions in a bid to support the rising energy demand in Thailand.
For the initial phase, the joint venture is set to focus on 18.9 megawatts-peak of operational assets, 30 MWp of under-construction projects and a pipeline of 170 MWp in development.
With this collaboration, the companies want to develop and operate 300 MW of renewable power projects over the next three years.
