After investing in a property in Madrid, Spain back in 2022, Bea Alonzo can now easily shuttle between Madrid and Manila. In 2023, she brought her family to Spain and Andorra, where they spent a white Christmas for the first time.

Bea Alonzo now freely shuttles between Madrid and Manila

Last October, Bea went to Spain alone for a brief vacation. She was given a permanent resident privilege in the country, although she does not plan to obtain Spanish citizenship.

“I love it when I’m travelling alone,” Bea said. “I like doing it. I went to Madrid by myself. I’m now a resident of Madrid, so when I’m there, I feel like a local. I got to enjoy the cold weather. Madrid is like my happy place.”

Bea is happy at this point in her life, where she is presently in a new and different relationship with a non-showbiz guy. “I don’t know if it comes with age or experiences or the people you surround yourself with,” Bea said.

She celebrated her 38th birthday here last Oct. 17 before she flew to Madrid.

Although she does not have a project to get busy with at the moment, she is definitely waiting for the right one. “You know the stars have their itch,” she said. “We are waiting for the right project. When I see the right one, I will get out of my shell to do something.”

She does not have any definite plans for herself for next year, nor is she expecting anything for the holidays.

“I'm happy with what I have right now,” Bea said. “Whatever I receive that comes from the heart, I'll be happy with that.”

Meanwhile, her 2025 allowed her to do more “self-discovery” and “kindness” in letting herself find and discover the right things to make her happy.
