Aboitiz Power Corp. further deepened its strategic alliance with Japan's Jera Co. Inc., with the launch of an energy training center.
MALVAR, Batangas — Aboitiz Power Corp. further deepened its strategic alliance with Japan's Jera Co. Inc., with the launch of an energy training center.
The companies have inaugurated the Global Technical Center of Excellence (GTCOE), a training facility designed to become a premier hub for developing their talent pool in the power generation sector, here in the province.
AboitizPower is the Philippines' biggest power producer, while Jera is one of the leading generation companies in Japan.
At a press conference yesterday, AboitizPower chief engineering and project officer Don Paulino said the facility aims to leverage the expertise of both companies in shaping young and emerging technical talents.
