Aboitiz Foods opens $45-M Vietnam feed mill

Aboitiz Foods, the integrated food and business arm of the Aboitiz Group, inaugurated last week its $45-million modern feed mill in Vietnam as it seeks to solidify its footprint in Southeast Asia.

The company opened its Gold Coin Long An Feed Mill in Long An, Vietnam that spans 3.8 hectares and features cutting-edge technology and a modern laboratory, capable of producing 300,000 metric tons (MT) of livestock and animal nutrition feed annually.

The new facility replaces the firm's Dong Nai Mill and complements its fully operational Binh Duong plant, bringing Aboitiz Foods' total feed production capacity in Vietnam to 1.1 million MT.
