Suri calls for vigilance in PMAY implementation in J&K

The announcement, made by Union Rural Development Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan, underscores the government's commitment to social justice and inclusive development.

While lauding the initiative, Suri stressed the need for stringent oversight to ensure that only genuinely eligible families benefit from this massive welfare program. “The Rural Development Department and UT administration must maintain full transparency in the selection process.

Past instances of benefits being diverted to influential individuals must not be repeated,” he cautioned.
