MP Jugal chairs DISHA meeting

Member of Parliament Jugal Kishore Sharma today reviewed the implementation and progress of the Centrally Sponsored Schemes (CSSs) in Samba district at a meeting of District Development Coordination & Monitoring Committee (DISHA) held here in the Conference Hall, District Administrative Complex, Nandani Hills.

At the outset, the Deputy Commissioner gave an exhaustive PowerPoint presentation outlining the physical and financial progress made under the flagship schemes and major developmental initiatives undertaken across the district.

MP Jugal Kishore reviewed progress of key infrastructural works including the Samba to Sumb and Mansar Mod to Mansar Roads. The MP emphasized that the installation of permanent signboards on PMGSY and rural roads, as well as the laying of the foundation stone for the Samba Flyover must be executed on priority to enhance transparency, civic awareness and public accountability.
