Former Jammu and Kashmir DGP S.P Vaid has said that there were “around 50-60 air attacks" over Jammu, Udhampur, Rajouri, Pathankot, Samba, and Akhnoor by Pakistan on Thursday evening and these were neutralised by India's impregnable air defence system.

He said there is no report of any damage despite such a massive attack by Pakistan.
The former DGP said Pakistan appears to have resorted to full-fledged war.
"Today evening after 8:20 pm, we have witnessed around 50-60 air attacks over Jammu, Udhampur, Rajouri, Pathankot, Samba, and Akhnoor. All these attacks have been neutralised and made ineffective. Compliments to the impregnable air defence system,” SP Vaid said.
"There is no report of any damage despite such a massive attack by Pakistan. It appears to be a full-fledged war by Pakistan and a befitting reply needs to be given by our three services. Pakistan's days are numbered... Pakistan will soon be divided into five parts," he added.
On May 8, Pakistan Army resorted to firing across the Line of Control (LoC) in Uri, Kupwara, Tangdhar, and Karnah sectors of Jammu and Kashmir, violating the ceasefire.
Pakistan fired eight missiles directed at Satwari, Samba, RS Pura and Arnia, and all were intercepted and blocked by air defence units, defence sources said.
Sources said the attack resembled a Hamas-style operation in Israel where Multiple cheap rockets are used to targe cities
They said visuals over Jammu remind one of exactly a Hamas-style attack on Israel, like multiple cheap rockets.
