11th Telangana Statehood Day celebrated at LG Secretariat

Under the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat initiative, the 11th Statehood Day of Telangana was celebrated at the Lieutenant Governor's Secretariat in the presence of guests from Telangana serving in different institutes and armed forces, along with staff from the LG Secretariat.
Telangana, which is India's youngest state, was carved out of Andhra Pradesh on June 2, 2014, as the 29th state of India. Telangana is renowned for its rich cultural heritage, historic landmarks and unique cuisine. It's famous for its ancient temples, forts and the iconic Charminar in Hyderabad, along with its vibrant festivals and textile arts. The state's cuisine, particularly Hyderabadi Biryani, is also a major draw, and Telangana is a major producer of cotton, leading to vibrant textile-based crafts.
