Won't accept EPS as CM candidate, says Dhinakaran

AMMK general secretary TTV Dhinakaran on Sunday said he cannot be part of an alliance where AIADMK general secretary Edappadi K Palaniswami is the chief minister candidate.

Speaking to reporters, Dhinakaran said he had formed the AMMK to oppose Palaniswami. "How can we accept him as CM candidate. I was in the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) hoping the BJP would change the candidate. It is equivalent to suicide if I remain in the alliance with EPS as CM candidate," he said, adding he would be "okay if anyone other than EPS is chief minister candidate."
