SC forms new SIT to probe laddu row SUCHITRA KALYAN MOHANTY @ New Delhi THE Supreme Court on Friday constituted an independent special investigation team (SIT) to probe the allegations that animal fat was used to prepare laddus at Sri Venkateswara temple in Tirupati, in Andhra Pradesh.

The new SIT substitutes the Andhra Pradesh government's probe panel constituted on September 26 to look into the row.
