THE Shiromani Akali Dal has said it will seek transfer of Kartarpur Sahib from Pakistan to India through mutual land exchange between the two countries.

SAD promises to seek transfer of Kartarpur Sahib from Pak

The Kartarpur corridor links Gurdwara Darbar Sahib in Pakistan, the final resting place of Guru Nanak Dev, to Dera Baba Nanak shrine in Gurdaspur district of Punjab.

While releasing the manifesto for the parliamentary elections on Saturday, the SAD also demanded opening of Attari and Hussainiwala borders with Pakistan for trade and tourism.

It also announced to oppose any move to enforce Uniform Civil Code.
