A 26-year-old man died in a road accident near Kundrathur along the Vandalur-Minjur Outer Ring Road on Sunday night.

The deceased man, Rajendran, a contract worker with the state highways department, was heading to Rajiv Gandhi Government Hospital where his wife was admitted, to see his newborn child.
