Delhi court sends Arvind Kejriwal to three-day CBI custody

DELHI Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was on Wednesday sent to three-day CBI custody by a local court after his arrest by the central probe agency in the excise policy case.
The CBI, which produced Kejriwal in Rouse Avenue Court, sought five-day remand to interrogate him in the case, but Judge Amitabh Rawat ordered three days of custody. Kejriwal is in Tihar Jail over his alleged involvement in a money laundering case linked to the nowscrapped liquor policy. The Enforcement Directorate had arrested him on March 21.
