2 MORE BODIES FOUND, T'MALAI LANDSLIDE TOLL TOUCHES SEVEN

DEATH toll in the landslide that took place on Sunday touched seven with the personnel engaged in rescue efforts retrieving two more bodies on Tuesday, official sources confirmed.
Five bodies were retrieved on Monday.
The landslide had buried two adjacent houses in VOC Nagar, 11th Street. The deceased have been identified as N Rajkumar (28), R Meena (27), her children R Gowtham (9), R Iniya (5), their neighbour S Ramya (7), M Vinothini (14) and M Maha (7).
Rajkumar's body was retrieved on Tuesday morning, followed by Ramya's body in the afternoon. An official from the rescue team said, "It was challenging to retrieve the bodies of Rajkumar and Ramya as they were trapped under rocks." The bodies were sent to Tiruvannamalai GH.
