ADITYA Birla Group Chairman Kumar Mangalam Birla said that UltraTech is poised to become the largest cement-selling company in the world, outside of China.

ADITYA Birla Group Chairman Kumar Mangalam Birla said that UltraTech is poised to become the largest cement-selling company in the world, outside of China. He added that the company is on track to cross 200 million tonne per annum (MTPA) capacity in FY26, a year ahead of original FY27 goal.

UltraTech added 42.6 MTPA of capacity in FY25, with 16.3 MTPA through organic expansion, and 26.3 MTPA through strategic acquisitions, notably India Cements and Kesoram Industries. With this, the total consolidated capacity as of March 2025 stood at 188.8 MTPA.
