ANDHRA Pradesh Eastern Power Distribution Company Limited (APEPDCL) Chairperson and Managing Director Prudhvi Tej has called for coordinated efforts among banks, solar vendors, and APEPDCL officials to implement the PM Surya Ghar scheme and increase rooftop solar installations across Visakhapatnam and surrounding areas.

During the review meeting at the APEPDCL Circle Office on Monday, he interacted with officials from various banks, representatives of solar companies, and APEPDCL engineers. He explained the need to conduct awareness programmes in all wards and gram panchayats in the district to inform residents about the benefits and process of installing rooftop solar systems under the PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana.
