A standoff at a gurdwara in Nagarsu, Rudraprayag entered its second day Sunday, with Nihang Sikhs occupying the rooftop for over 24 hours. The incident has raised concerns along the Badrinath highway.
Trouble began Thursday at 3:40 pm when police received an emergency call about a dispute between gurdwara sevadars and visiting Nihang Sikhs. Gholtir outpost police reached immediately. ‘‘Both sides were counselled and the situation assessed,’’ Rudraprayag SP Nihari
