More Auto Makers Slash Prices as GST Rate Cuts Set to Kick In

Smaller cars likely to be cheaper by 10%, while bigger cars will see 5-10% price reduction
A day after Tata Motors announced price cuts across its passenger vehicle range following the GST rate reduction, more carmakers have rolled out similar benefits for customers.
Mahindra & Mahindra said it will pass on the full GST benefits across its internal combustion engine SUV portfolio starting September 6. Prices will drop by up to ₹1.56 lakh, depending on the model. Thar 4WD will get cheaper by up to ₹1.01 lakh, the Bolero/Neo by ₹1.27 lakh, XUV 3XO Petrol by ₹1.40 lakh, Thar 2WD Diesel by ₹1.35 lakh, Scorpio Classic by ₹1.01 lakh, Scorpio N by ₹1.45 lakh, Thar Roxx by ₹1.33 lakh, and XUV700 by ₹1.43 lakh.
