Cannot Waste Court's Time on Utterances by Politicians: HC

The Madras High Court has said it cannot waste time hearing petitions related to the utterances of political leaders, suggesting those filing such petitions concentrate on issues beneficial to the country.
Justice P. Velmurugan made this observation while dismissing a petition filed by advocate ML Ravi, president of Desiya Makkal Sakthi Katchi. The petition sought a directive for police to investigate former state BJP president K. Annamalai regarding his revelations on call records from the Anna University rape case convict, Gnanasekaran.
