ACQUITTAL from a criminal case cannot be considered as a ground to drop disciplinary proceedings against a government employee, the Madurai Bench of Madras High Court has observed and set aside an order passed by a single judge of the court directing the government to revoke the suspension of an assistant elementary educational officer from Pudukkottai if he is let off in a corruption case.
