Probe into failure by Ghaziabad jail admin to release an accused: SC

The Supreme Court on Wednesday ordered a judicial inquiry into the Ghaziabad District Jail's failure to release an accused who had been granted bail in April in a case related to alleged forced religious conversion linked to a marriage.
A bench of Justice K.V. Viswanathan and Justice N. Kotiswar Singh directed the Chief Justice of the Allahabad HC to appoint the Principal District and Sessions Judge, Ghaziabad, to conduct the inquiry.
