THE Nellore Municipal Corporation (NMC) has launched a pothole-free road initiative, repairing 945 potholes across the city at a cost of ₹2.12 crore to ensure smoother and safer commuting for residents and visitors.
Nellore, a rapidly growing Tier-2 city, has seen increasing traffic due to the establishment of industries, economic zones, thermal plants, and manufacturing units around its limits. Spanning 149.2 square kilometers, the city has a 320 km network of CC and BT roads that serves both its residential population and 6,000 to 8,000 daily visitors who rely heavily on its infr
