Chittoor & Tirupati districts gear up for massive IYD celebrations today

ALL arrangements are in place to conduct large-scale International Yoga Day (IYD) celebrations across Chittoor and Tirupati districts on June 21, with each district expecting over 10,000 participants at their respective headquarters.
Officials have selected the Mechanical Ground in Chittoor city and the SV University Stadium in Tirupati city as the main venues. In total, yoga sessions will be held at 11,000 locations across both districts to accommodate the large number of participants.
On Friday, district collectors and regional tourism officers inspected the preparations at the designated grounds. In Chittoor district, over 5.5 lakh participants have registered through the QR code app, while around 4 lakh have registered in Tirupati district.
