Rain lashes Kumari, Nellai districts; bathing ban at Courtallam Falls

RAIN lashed parts of Kanniyakumari and Tirunelveli district on Friday. Owing to the increased flow of water, bathing was banned in Courtallam Main Falls and Five Falls in Tenkasi district.
For the last few days, light to moderate rainfall was recorded in various parts of Kanniyakumari district. On Thursday afternoon, rain lashed parts of Nagercoil and other parts of the district, causing waterlogging on roads and in low-lying areas.
