Kovai Hospital Restores Arm of Woman Hacked by Son-in-Law

A severed right arm of a 45-year-old woman was successfully replanted by the team of plastic surgeons at the Coimbatore Medical College Hospital (CMCH).
The doctors claimed that it is the first successful replantation of a completely amputated limb at the Coimbatore Medical College Hospital.
The right arm of S Thangamani, a resident of Sundarapuram near Pollachi, was chopped off completely by her son-in-law Ravi (36) over a family dispute around 8.30 pm on Thursday. The latter brutally attacked her with a sickle, severing the arm almost in the middle.
