The New Indian Express Thrissur
|May 16, 2025
WITH the Indian Premier League set for resumption on Saturday, there's finally some clarity with respect to player movements and replacements to help teams in the business end of the season.

This is to help them acclimatise to the conditions ahead of the World Test Championship (WTC) final against Australia from June 11. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) did lobby with Cricket South Africa (CSA) but the latter managed to convey why they needed all eight WTC-bound players in the UK before the end of the month.
