Missing soldier traced to Bengaluru after nearly 2 weeks, brought home

A SOLDIER from Kozhikode, Vishnu, who had been missing for a couple of weeks, has been found in Bengaluru.
The 30-year-old, a resident of Eranjikkal, was found by Elathur police on Wednesday after an extensive search.
Vishnu, who had gone missing on December 17, told police that financial difficulties had led him to leave both his workplace and home.
Vishnu had been on a 20-day leave from the Pune Army Sports Institute and was travelling home when he went missing.
In a voice message sent to his mother on the morning of December 17, Vishnu indicated that he had reached Kannur railway station and would be home soon, adding that his phone would be switched off.
