Five Arrested for Retired SI's Murder; NTK Seeks CBI Probe

TIRUNELVELI city police made their fifth arrest in connection with the murder of retired Sub-Inspector Zakhir Hussain Bijli, 60, here in Tamil Nadu on Sunday.
The arrested accused is M Peer Mohamed, 37, of Tirunelveli Town.
Mohamed is the brother of Noor Nisha, the prime accused Krishnamoorthi alias Thoufeeq's wife, who is on the run. Thoufeeq had already been shot at by the police and arrested.
