16-yr-wait ends, burial land sanctioned for masjid

ENDING a 16-year-long wait of Badarya Juma Masjid Mahallu Committee members and believers, District Collector Arjun Pandian on Monday issued an order sanctioning a burial ground for Badarya Juma Masjid at Korattikkara near the masjid, following the intervention of the Minority Commission.
The Masjid Mahallu Committee president Abdhul Khader had filed a petition with the Minority Commission seeking an intervention to set up a burial ground. Considering the complaint, the Commission included district collector as a respondent
