|August 24, 2025
Samajwadi Party MLA Pooja Pal, who was expelled from the party recently for appreciating CM Yogi Adityanath, has written to party chief Akhilesh Yadav accusing him of strengthening criminal elements within the organisation by "insulting and deserting her midway".
Pal said in her letter that she was being subjected to trolling on social media and was also receiving life threats after her expulsion. She added that her only aim of receiving justice for her husband's murder was fulfilled and that she is not scared of threats. "If anything happens to me, the SP and its chief Akhilesh Yadav should be held responsible," she said.
