RMC Targets 10% Rise in Property Tax Collection

EAST Godavari Collector and In-charge Commissioner of Rajamahendravaram Municipal Corporation (RMC) P Prasanthi on Wednesday set a target to increase property tax collection by at least 10% compared to last year's ₹88 crore.
During a review meeting with civic officials, the Commissioner directed staff to achieve 65% of the annual tax collection by the end of September. She instructed the completion of the house-to-house survey within a week and asked officials to begin demand generation without delay.
