During seven-hour quizzing, ACB posed 80 questions, while ED put 40

- CHITHALURI REVANTH @Hyderabad

BRS working president and former Municipal Administration Minister KT Rama Rao appeared before the Enforcement Directorate (ED) for the first time in connection with the Formula E Race case.

During the seven-hour questioning, ED officials asked Rama Rao to provide details of his bank accounts and assets, to which he agreed. It may be recalled that Rama Rao had previously appeared before the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on January 9 for the same case.

The ACB had reportedly asked him around 80 questions, while the ED focused on over 40 questions.

The ED inquired about the transfer of money to a foreign company without proper approvals, why money was transferred during the model code of conduct (MCC), and whether municipal officials informed him about procedural violations.
