BluSmart Halts Services After Sebi Curbs on Gensol

ELECTRIC vehicle (EV)-only ride-hailing platform BluSmart has temporarily suspended bookings in major cities, including Delhi-NCR and Bengaluru, following financial turmoil at its key backer and fleet provider, Gensol Engineering Ltd (GEL).
While the BluSmart app remains available for download, users report being unable to book rides. Several customers have taken to social media to express frustration over the sudden service disruption.
When contacted by this newspaper, BluSmart declined to comment on the suspension.
