Soraba taluk hospital will receive all facilities

SPECIALIST doctors, an X-ray machine, and a dialysis machine will be arranged for the Taluk General Hospital at Soraba, Minister for School Education, Literacy and District Madhu S Bangarappa said.
Presiding over a taluk health committee meeting at the hospital in Soraba on Wednesday, Madhu said steps must be taken to appoint specialists, including obstetricians. He directed the district health officer to address vacancies, stating that new specialists could only be appointed if the positions were officially recorded as vacant.
"The hospital's current X-ray machine is non-functional, and a new one, estimated to cost between Rs 16 lakh and Rs 17 lakh, is needed. Efforts will be made to procure it using Corporate Social Responsibility funds," he said.
