Second Vande Bharat Express Will Give a Boost to Economy of Davanagere District in a Big Way: MP

TERMING Davanagere as a favourite destination for IT/BT industries, due to its strategic location in Karnataka, Davanagere MP Dr Prabha Mallikarjun on Sunday said that the second Vande Bharat Express will help in developing the economy of the district in a big way.
Addressing public after receiving the new train at Davanagere in the afternoon, she said the Bengaluru-Davanagere-Belgaum Vande Bharat will boost education, health services, IT/BT industries and trade in the future.
The indigenously built, semi-high-speed, self-propelled train left Bengaluru station on Sunday and arrived later at Davanagere, and was flagged off by the MP as it left for Belagavi later.
