A Global Celebration: International Day of Yoga 2024 The International Day of Yoga (IDY) 2024 was a spectacular celebration, with the theme "Yoga for Self and Society," resonating across continents. The main event took place in the serene setting of Dal Lake, Srinagar, where 7,000 yoga enthusiasts gathered to perform a 45-minute Common Yoga Protocol (CYP).

This event was broadcast nationwide, uniting millions in the spirit of wellness and harmony. Participation extended across all 20 districts of Jammu and Kashmir, reinforcing Yoga's role as a unifying force.

The Ministry of Ayush capitalized on digital platforms to amplify IDY's reach.
