Mohanlal Apologises to Fans Amid Row Over Movie

FOLLOWING backlash from the right wing, including the RSS, over certain scenes in his latest flick 'L2: Empuraan', actor Mohanlal has expressed his regret for the "distress" caused, stating his films do not intend to promote hatred towards any political ideology, organisation or religious group.
Mohanlal, in a Facebook post, said the controversial portions in the film will be removed. Prithviraj Sukumaran, the film's director, later shared the post.
