Federal Bank profit up 13.7% to ₹1,030 crore on fee income

KOCHI-based private sector lender Federal Bank on Wednesday reported a 13.7% year-on-year growth in net income at ₹1,030 crore for the March quarter, driven by all-round improvement in key metrics including an 8.3% growth in net interest income and a high double-digit growth in fee income.
Total income in the quarter grew 13.70% to ₹7,654.31 crore, of which the core net interest income rose 8.31% to ₹2,377.4 crore, CFO V Venkateswaran told reporters during earnings call from Kochi on Wednesday.
