'Take firmer stance on Russian energy exports'
WITH eyes around the globe transfixed on the upcoming Trump-Putin summit in Alaska on August 15, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a strategically-timed telephonic conversation to discuss the conflict in Ukraine, possible peace efforts, and bilateral ties.
In a post on X, the Prime Minister said he was "glad to speak with President Zelenskyy and hear his perspectives on recent developments," adding that India remains committed to "making every possible contribution" to peace and strengthening ties with Ukraine.
